TV Ad's from the Campaign

This video is a compilation of a lot of the National Tobacco Campaign's Tv Ad's. I'm sure everyone has seen one of these Ad's before. I found it interesting to watch a few of them compiled like this because you can see the repitition of the message over and over. 'Every cigarette is doing you damage!'.

The plan...

Hi Everyone,

So i've started writing up my draft (probably 2/3 of the way there!) so i'll put up a copy on my blog maybe tonight if i can find the energy to finish it.

But for now i'm going to give u an outline of where I have been, and where i'm going with my essay.

I've also tried to put some video's up but it's a bit tricky (and i'm technically challenged)..so i'm going to try and follow James' instructions later this afternoon and get them up on here ASAP.

So heres the plan..

Newspaper article I came across...

Hi again,

I was just doing some research and came across an article about the national tobacco campaign. I found it to be good in terms of getting feedback about the campaign which will hopefully be useful for my essay.

Anyways have a look if your interested!

Attitude change - The National Tobacco Campaign

Hi Everyone,

I've decided to do the Blog question on attitude change. I've chosen the National Tobacco Campaign as my point of interest. I'm sure everyone has by now been exposed to this campaign, It is responsible for the repulsive pictures on cigarette packets, and similar TV commercials. Specifically i'm interested in pointing out how and why this campaign is different, especially in terms of using 'shock tactics' (which is a new strategy). I wanted to do this campaign because I know for a fact it is working. I quit smoking on the 28th of June and haven't looked back!

Here are some pictures which are the backbone of the campaign -
